Silver Spider necklace

Spiders have an instantly recognizable silhouette and an intricate natural structure. Their long, articulated legs create a form that feels both delicate and heraldic.

In this necklace, the extended legs give the piece a strong sculptural presence, while the textured surfaces and fine structural lines create shifting areas of light and shadow. A rainbow moonstone sits at the center of the form.

This Silver Spider necklace features a rainbow moonstone cabochon - a foggy-white gem with a beautiful blue glow. As each gemstone varies in shade, pattern, and flash, I will select one that complements the design beautifully.

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes (darkens) over time. The speed of this process depends on storage conditions, humidity, and exposure to chemicals.

To maintain its shine, clean the piece regularly with a silver polishing cloth. For detailed areas, fold the cloth into a point and gently buff the desired sections.
